How does dealspec's deal sourcing service work?
We start with your target criteria: sectors, size, geography, financials and ownership situation. From there we analyse the sector, build and enrich target lists, and score them against your criteria. Relevant targets are monitored for changes such as succession signals or ownership shifts, so approaches happen when there is a reason to approach. Outreach runs across email, letter and LinkedIn, and you receive first conversations together with the call preparation for them.
Who is dealspec's deal sourcing service for?
Primarily M&A advisors, private equity funds and search funds. We also work with MBI candidates, family offices and corporates running their own acquisitions. What matters is a defined mandate or search profile.
Does dealspec's sourcing run on your systems or ours?
Both are possible. We can build the sourcing system inside your stack, so your team works in its own CRM and data environment while we maintain and extend the setup. Or we run the full sequence on our side and hand over qualified conversations and briefings. The split can also be mixed, for example sourcing and scoring with us, outreach from your own domains and profiles.
In which countries can dealspec source targets?
Our focus is European companies, with the deepest coverage in the DACH region. Sourcing outside Europe is possible, but what we can deliver depends on how accessible shareholder and financial data is in the market. We tell you upfront where the data thins out, before we agree on a target list.
How long until the first conversations with targets?
Sourcing starts right away. What determines the timeline is your setup for outreach. If you already have the systems in place, outreach goes live in around two weeks. If we build the tech first, expect four to six weeks before the first sequences run.
