Founder's Associate Intern - Data (m/w/d)

Job Description

We're looking for a Founder's Associate Intern (Data) to help build and improve our company, investor, people and market data. You'll work closely with the founding and engineering teams to turn fragmented information into structured, reliable datasets for M&A Advisors, Private Equity & Search Funds. From exploring new data sources to building enrichment workflows and testing matching approaches, you'll own practical data projects that contribute directly to our product and client work.

What you will do

Source, structure and enrich company, investor, people and market data
Build and test AI-powered workflows for data collection, enrichment and matching
Improve data quality and turn datasets into useful insights for our platform and clients

Currently studying (Bachelor / Master) in Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics or related fields
Preferably 1-2 previous internships in M&A, Private Equity, Search Funds, Start-Ups or Consulting
Experience combining, cleaning and enriching large, diverse datasets and building a reliable data pipeline
AI-native, especially with tools like Claude, Cursor, n8n, Figma and Clay as well as some development basics
An entrepreneurial & problem-solving, high-agency mentality
Strong organizational & prioritization skills
Excellent communication skills in English & German

Research and evaluate new data sources and collect company, investor, people and market information for our platform and client projects
Clean, standardize and enrich datasets using external sources, Python, SQL and AI tools
Build and test workflows that extract structured information from websites, registries and documents
Match and deduplicate records across sources and map relationships between companies, investors and people
Explore datasets to identify trends and relevant targets, and support experiments with scoring and forecasting approaches
Run quality checks to identify missing data, inconsistencies and enrichment errors, and improve the underlying workflows
Work closely with the engineering and founding team to integrate data into our platform and shape our development priorities
